You will need to find a way to dampen and support those pipes as you don't want the weight or vibrations translated to the glass.Otherwise looks great to me.
You can slide a piece of wood between the pipes and stand and strap them. I use a strip of rubber and place it between the strap and pipe for a snug fit. This will help with vibration and to some extent the weight of the water, pipe, and fittings.I would then use some other type of support under the horizontal portion of each pipe.Hopefully AZ will have a look.

Also you may want to edit the title of this thread to get more eyes on what you are doing.Something like "please check my sump plumbing."
    :)

Thanks. Yes I need to support lines somehow. I'm happy that all looks good. Maybe others can approve, I'll wait ;) Any suggestions for a return pump? Thanks.

I like using flex hose for the drains.;)FWIW
I like Eheim bulletproof but not the most efficient.Heres there new line and they seem to be getting good reviews.

Buying quality is important on this piece ime. DCPumps are the newest thing. The benefit there is being able to tune your flow.Others will have more recomendations for you.I will alert the Rat to check your plumbing.:)

Hi everybody. For all that followed my building thread when I decided to downgrade from 125 to 40 gal. This is a little update. Tank is running for 2 hours finally. I still need right Return Pump ( for now running my back up for 125 Mag 12 dialed down) and Skimmer ( not sure which I'll need). I might have a buyer not for whole set up but all Livestock. So I will sell equipment after. Last pic its how I started downgrade... Thanks for all help. Art.
