    Here's my Derasa. I've had it for about a year and a half. He's gone from from 3 inches to 5.

    It's amazing how resilient they can be yet be so delicate. My squamosa has been through my very first tank and I can tell ya, it was a rough ride for that clam. Now it's getting to big for the tank.

    Thanks! :) it's one of my favorites for sure! This guy has been through some serious lows I'm surprised how resilient they can be.

    Went digging for a pic when I first got it. It was just under 2". It's almost 6 " now :)

    What I really want is a nice maxima. But it seems like they are hard to come by. Or maybe that's just for for us Canadians :/

    Maxima clams are a plenty in the states. I wonder if live aquaria or pacific east aquaculture would ship to canada?
