I have had great luck with frozen Ova and Cyclop-Eeze and getting rid of lympho. Also worked like a charm for getting the copperband I had to eat.

    I will!! I've heard it's good stuff

I couldn't observe the fish today because I haven't beel home all day. But I forgot to ask, lympho can look similar to ich, right? He had some "single" dots it looked like, but it would have been a cluster of tiny spots I guess. I'm just making sure it's not ich, I don't think it is because he's not scratching or twitching or acting annoyed.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Lympo usually starts on fish's fins and individual spots, unlike Marine Ich which looks like you fish has been grains of salt all over.

I had a raccoon butterfly for a very long time and it really seemed to be a pretty hardy fish. Lost him in a crash :( I don't think they are as fragile as some of the other types. As you said, feed a good diet and reduce stress and hopefully the fish will just fight it off.

Interesting. Thanks guys!! Ill see how he looks tomorrow. I saw him in the dark and he looks a tiny bit better. It just scares me too see the couple spots on his fins because it looks like ich. I assume that it will be a week or two before the spots disappear. He seems very happy :) such a little dude

It looks worse today :( my clown looks like he might have it on his caudal fun too. Hopefully it will go away

The butterfly hasn't taken as many foods in the main tank as he did in qt, hopefully he'll get used to the tank more and begin to take more

George, can you get a photo? this may help in ID. IME's Lympho resembles a lumpy protrusion on the fin edges, tail edges or body of the fish. most mine had were 2 or three spots. almost like they had some dried glue on them.

That's pretty much what this looks like. Except its more than 2 or three I think. The ones that look like one dot are in his fins on his side and he has one on each of those fins. The worst is his dorsal fin. Sorry he moves a lot!!

Do these help at all? They don't look like ich to me, except the one on his side fin.
