I would like to subscribe to a reef keeping magazine. What is the best choice to go with?

RHM is only available via your LFS (no mail subscription) or online

Reefs is online only... if that is what your looking for then www.AdvancedAquaristOnline.com is superb!!!

For print magazines RHM is great, ditto CORAL and one not mentioned is Leng Sy and Scott Michael's ReefLife ReefLife Magazine

    Another free one...

We occasionally get 'Coral' imported in my LFS it's very good. I have a subscription to Marine World which is a UK mag.

    Is CORAL worth subscribing to?

hands down CORAL is worth subscribing to.

UltraMarine is another UK mage worth checking out.

I find ReefKeeping to be very light now that Skipper has left as editor. I much prefer Reefs and AAOL over RK.

I've been very impressed by Coral.

I'm pretty lucky though, my LFS often gives me a copy for free. Then again, I do buy all of my fish and coral there, I think that I'm single-handedly making his mortgage payment every month.

Just a quick update, Reefkeeping Magazine is no longer a magazine....they have turned it into blogs...When we first started, I read through as many back issues as I could and it was a tremendous help. Now, it is just a series of links to threads.....very disappointed.

This is because they are in a transition period with their website. It will go back to the normal style when they get things worked out.

As far as print mags. go, I really like Coral Magazine.

Coral is a wonderful magazine for anyone interested in reefkeeping. The topics are discussed in depth and the photography is awesome. This magazine is worth every penny. The entire magazine is a high-quality color print, no cheap pages. It is published every two months.
