    Hello all!
I just picked up some weld on #4 for my new sump build (going full acrylic this time!). It says on the bottle it is 80% strength after 24-36 hours. Is that the full cure time?

I am wondering, after I apply the weld on, how long should I wait until I put in some water to start leak testing.

Any help, as always, is much appreciated.

3to4 days. You Can mix #4(70%)and#16(30%).
You can use this mixture for the second time to apply an acrylic. This technique Will Fix any problems and leaks.:)

I always wait at least a few days before water testing any acrylic joints, but time increases with material thickness. For 3/8" I wait a week, but I'm conservative.

Are you using the pins method for joints? What thickness material? Got a design?
