There is some stuff called Selcon or something like that which is a fatty additive for fish food. It may help add essentials.

You can add blood worms to your frozen mysis (I know it's usually for freshwater fish but my saltwater fish LOVE them).

I do a blend of mysis, bloodworms, krill and some sort of fish (silversides usually), formula 1 flakes , and some sort of frozen commercial mix.

Recently picked up some gel food...it's OK may need to mix with the mysis though and some garlic juice to get the fish to eat it better.

Frozen is far better than freeze dried and better accepted. ... I've never had any success in feeding my fish freeze dried, not even my fresh water fish.
