So I have decided to place my order at Coral Morphologic, but I was wondering how big of a risk it is to ship zoas and ricordea next day (3:30PM) and not next day (10:40 Am) Also how off are they usually with shipping. If I am not home before 3Pm is that ok? What if they bring it early at...say... 2:30 PM? Does this ever happpen? Also how often does the coral die during shipping? Thanks

IME, as long as something is packed properly and the ambient temperature is 65-90F, sitting an hour in the shade outside isn't a big deal. I've ordered many-a-things and I watch the tracking number from work and go home once it's been dropped off. Which means it has sat outside for close to an hour. You just simply can't get significant heat transfer through cardboard and styrofoam in that period of time, sans extremes.

Afternoon delivery will be fine; CM ships a lot of stuff. It that was unacceptable, they would have corrected it long ago. Zoas are pretty hardy shippers, I'd think it's quite rare they die during transit.

No big deal. Actually, last time I did this, it arrived at 10am anyway... Normally when I do the 12pm delivery it gets to me exactley at noon  3pm is just a worst case estimate.
