Thank you for asking this as I was asking myself the same question. When I purchased this guy from the LFS this is what they told me it was. But upon closer examination you may be right. Ive got this guy in the wrong place if it is a Cyphastrea as right now he is high in the tank with the SPS colonies. Unless I am mistaken they prefer low light? Thanks!
PS. I will upload some new pictures of both. Give a little bit.

Here are a couple of pictures of each colony now. I moved what I thought was encrusting Monti down to the bottom half. Polyps are starting to open now on the (cyphastrea). Thanks for the ID on this! But, what is the smaller guy next to the cyphastrea? Doesnt look the same to me. Thanks

In the second picture the Acro (sorry for the crap photos) I have placed near the bottom and laid it on its side. The formation of this coral gives the impression this is the way it should be placed. I also broke off the tips where the tissue had been burnt off. It too appears to be showing its bright neon green polyps. Still looking for info on these guys. Any info is greatly appreciated please feel free to tell me I am wrong!

Bump....new pictures. Breaking off the tips of the Acro where the tissue died is the right thing to do correct?

I did. If you'd like I'll post pics of mine when I get home. It is a Monti, either spongiodes or confusa.

Here's a confusa of mine being obliterated by monti eating nudi's.

I'll get a pic of a spongiodes when I get home.

Okay thanks. Since it is on the same rock as the Cyph and this coral requires low light....should I remove the frag from the rock and place it high in the tank? How do I go about removing this guy from that rock?

It looks like a monti undata (Jedi Mind Trick) by the coloration, or very similar. Mine likes lower light for SPS...I also house cyphastrea in my tank, and my monti needs more light than the cyphastrea. I would try to break the encrusted monti off and glue it higher.

EDIT: The acro looks like a A. turaki or something close. Neon green polyps are a common color for a turaki. Not positive ID however.

I agree with Face on the two corals on the same rock. Removal of the bad tips on the acro is good. See what it does where it is at and go from there.
