It's a three head poly and two of the polys are growing beautiful and doing great and the one polyp is shriveled up and small and it wasnt that bad till I fed it. But after feeding it the other side closed and opened up this side didn't. Do their testicals shrink after being fed? Ill post pics if needed. This one polyp has always looked less alive than the other two that are amazing. But this is the worse its ever been.
    90 gallon tank
    Nitrates 5 ppm
    Nitrites0
    Ph 8.
    Ammonia 0
I have a reef breed 120 watt cranked half way up on power and the torch is on the bottom and I fed it whatever that pink stuff is with mysis in it. Any solutions?
The torch was my dream coral, why I've been fighting nitrates. It can't die!!!!

I have recently had the same problem. I just had to frag off the dying head, coral dip them, and hope for the best. So far the other two are still doing well.

Only if its a boy. :p

How much flow do you have it in, looks like its quite a bit. try reduce the flow or moving it. Make sure your Alk, Calc, and Mag are where they need to be. My euphyllia seem to react to ALk changes the most.

Do they like lower flow? And no I purposely put this coral from the others so it won't sting.

Mine like medium to low flow, if they get blown around to much they retract quite a bit.

Sometimes they just shrivel up. Mine often does it when i feed the tank. I think it is trying to bring in food. Other times it does it for no apparent reason. The other day mine was all shriveled up. Today its fine.

Yours looks fine to me. The flow is probably okay. If the flow or water parameters were bad then all three heads would be reacting.

This story will make you feel better... :)
A few years ago one head of my torch got an infection. I took it to a friend with a band saw and he cut it off for me. Luckily, the rest of the coral survived. This is what it looked like...
