oh ty! I love Halloween. It's a perfect time for old farts like me to behave like kids again.lol
P.s. Some believe lower salinities are better for fish as there bodies don't have to work as hard to expel salt. So you may see some fowlrs running closer to 1023.Please let us know how your brain is doing.:)

I knew I forgot some. I also have
    2 Acans
And two things I have NO idea what they are. It looks a little like button polyps?? But they have green in them.

Plus multiple different heads of candy canes. One with 10 heads and one with like 28 heads.

Ok just home from work ! And good news, my brain is a little puffier. We added just a tad of salt yesterday. And moved him to the middle of the tank with more light. Here's a pic.

Lookin good!! I should also have mentioned corals will deflate from time to time to exchange water.:) Also be sure to dissolve salt in water and never add salt directly to the tank.

I disagree. Fish, just like all the other sea creatures, evolved millions of years ago to thrive in natural seawater. Deviating out of the natural range of salinity to which they have adapted may actually cause their bodies to work HARDER to maintain proper mineral levels in their cells. Consider this: Suppose someone thought higher O2 / lower CO2 levels would benefit humans and had the capacity to change our atmosphere; What would actually happen is we would become dizzy, weak, and irritable until we learn how to breath again. Is a salinity of 1.022 - 1.023 detrimental to a fish's health? I doubt it. But I refuse to believe the theory that it's beneficial, as well. I do strongly believe, however, that a lower salinity does have adverse affects on corals and inverts. JMHO :)
