Scientists with The Nature Conservancy and partner organizations are currently in the process of transplanting up to 10,000 staghorn and elkhorn coral colonies across degraded reefs in Florida and the U.S. Virgin Islands in what is being called the largest marine restoration of its kind. If this sounds like something Ken Nedimyer would be involved with to you, you would be correct. The Coral Research Foundation is listed as one of the partners in this effort. Go Ken, go!

I love this kind of stuff. Real world "frag" tanks. Awesome. I would love to do a volunteer vacation and help them out.
