I just received this birdsnest frag. I dipped it in Coral Rx Pro for about 5 minutes before putting it in the tank.

It's out of focus, but there appears to be some kind of tube worm or similar on the branch in the center of the photo. It's 2-3 mm long and you can see what appear to be two hair-like "antennae" sticking out of it.

Should I pull the frag and try to peel it off? Do you think the Rx Pro would get it and it will fall off in time?

    Thanks.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
If it were my frag I would leave it be.

Looks like a nice little frag.

Not sure if the dip will eventually kill it but the frag does not appear to be stressed by it's presence.

    Thanks for the response!

Yeah, it has good polyp extension and the exposed skeleton where there was damage from shipping is mostly healed over after a few days in the tank.

I'll leave it be for now. :)

I can't tell from the photo, but I have a spionid worm living in one of my Trumpets. Does not bother it at all, so I left it alone. You can find a picture here: Worm Hitch Hikers

    Definitely could be that.
