    seems fine! opens every morning..closes every night! it attached its foot the other day and hasn't moved so i guess i picked a good spot

    The clam can tolerate freshwater dips for up to 1/2 hour.

    ok thank you , one more Dum questions can you do the same thing with coral ?

    i think you can dip lps and sps for around 30 seconds..not sure on softies

    Don't ever freshwater dip an sps coral. You will kill it. You can freshwater dip some softies but I'd much rather do an iodine dip than a freshwater one.

    how long can you iodine dip them for ( this is my last dum question ;D)

    I usually dip them for about 15 minutes to a half hour. Watch the temp of the dip water though because it can drop quickly in cooler temps. I usually just add one or two drops of iodine to about 3 cups of tank water for my dip water.
