    What size tank do you have?? A DIY kit from rapid would do the trick for sure...my clam loves it

    Your T5HO will keep your clam very easily. I have 2 under mine.

    really? I thought MHs or leds were what they needed to be under. Idk if I'll get one soon or if I'll wait till i upsize on my aquarium. my mom has a 50 just sitting in our storage. lol I think I hear it calling my name.

    Here's my clam under t5ho-I've never fed it either ;) She's open like this all day! You can't see it but I have her on a DIY base where she's firmly affixed. If I need to move her, I can :) I've had her about 4-5 months, was only 3" and is now 4" placed 11" from the lights.

    I've had my clam for about 6months now. It survived a nitrate spike and my eel's sand storms. be careful with anglels. they sometimes like to nip and can cause serious even fatal wounds. I had to train my angel to stay away from it. she soon lost interest after about a week.
    I target feed mine phyto with a turkey baster. really seems to like it.
