Scrap marks on my clam?

    There are a couple spots on it that look like color has been scraped off. Or they kind of look like stretch marks?

    The tank is a 12" cube that's been running for 9-10 months.

    Lighting is a LEDtric Inspire at 24%

    nitrites - 0
    nitrates - < 2
    phosphates - 0
    salinity - 1.026
    alkalinity - 12.7 dkh
    Mg - 1470
    Ca - 470

    Welcome to 3reef,

    Crocea sometimes develop this coloration pattern. Some hobbyist find it very attractive.

    That is a beautiful clam you have.

    Wow, that's a really nice clam. I think they add so much to a tank. My clam is doing the same and as coralline stated there's nothing to worry about. Clam looks very healthy and happy.

    what kind of coral is that in the top left corner? the green onw

    Actually, that's not a coral. It's a rock/flower anemone :p
