Update: 3rd week using NoPox no noticeable reduction in Nitrates:( I'm sure the anemone getting sucked up by the powerhead didn't help.

Yeah fortunately the Nitrates didn't go up. I did a quick water change when I found the nem sucked up in the power head.

I just started my 3rd week of vinegar dosing and still have no reduction in my nitrates either.

I have been battling cyano for about 9 months and have read that vinegar sometimes fights cyano where vodka sometimes makes it grow more. So I am seeing how it goes, just experimenting.

You have had 3 full weeks right? I am going to follow along and maybe we can compare the methods since we started fairly close together, although my tank is only a fraction of yours at 55g. ;)

Yes 3 weeks today starting my 4th week tomorrow and I'm going to dose 20ml this time hopefully my tank doesn't get cloudy like it did the first time I added 20ml.
