Hi have a question for ppl. I have a 90 gal with 20 sump haven't done water change in a move. When I did I did 30 gal as told to later find out only should have done a 10 at best. So the LFS said not to for a long time and gave me prime and stability. And at the same time I got the ick. So now I'm adding all that plus ick attack. Phosphate was 0.66 or little less ammonia was between 0.25 0.55. Ph 8.3 all other are o.i am using phosgrard. Now I have red and green algae the red is hair like. I've lost three high dollar fish. I don't know why they say not to

Keep things simple. Stop dosing products. Stop adding any additional live stock. Get on a routine bi weekly water change schedule. The amount of water you remove will have to be a bit of experiment and you will have to try different things, but 30 gallons on a 110 total system is just fine.

In the mean time do small frequent water changes until your water parameters get in check.
