Thanks man! I've been wanting that color clam for a year now But 300 dollars was a hard pill to swallow. Aqua SD had a great fathers day sale so I jumped on it. They were awesome to do buisness with. The lion fish was totally unplanned but when I saw him I knew he was special. There were 3 of them but they didn't have nearly as much yellow.

The fish is gonna color-up really nicely for you. As for foods, fuzzies are pretty easy...SW fish flesh, esp. salmon is readily eaten by ours, as is table shrimp, bivalve meat, squid, etc. Your fish will also eat any pods is finds (generally, Gammarids). A stealth stick is the best way to present the food to your fish.

As for clams, I used to be kind of a clam nut, and I was a moderator on Barry Neigut's old Clams Direct site for a few years.

AquaSD is great to deal with. For a stealth stick I know they are begining to make them. I made one a few months back but my angler is stuck up. he will watch the food usually for 2-3 minutes before striking because I try to trick him with prepared :-/

Love the clam how much are you dosing in your little tank with all those clams?

Not dosing very much. 5ml of calcification and ions from aquavitro. I do 10 gallon water changes every 2 weeks on sunday. I use coral pro salt and the levels stay stable. II'm not running a sump so its a bit more work to keep water quality pristine.
