I have a piece of toadstool that I have had for years and recently i moved it but it isnt happy. I cut it off the rock it was on but dont have enough of a stem to use a toothpick to mount it to a new rock. Can i just use a rubber band across the middle for a few days to get it to attach to a new rock?

It works fine but make sure it isn't to tight, I recently made the mistake of putting a rubber band around mine to tightly (it felt lose when I put it on) it cut it in half and turned it to mush. Poor guy.

Someone with more experience than me probably wouldn't have ruined it like I did. I left some wiggle room but didn't account for major "swell" room. It was my favorite leather. It also may have been the type of rubber band, it was meant for baby hair and they are very thin.
