just got a mated pair, that this guy i bought my 96gallon had for a few years.

i was shocked to see that he did'nt have a refugium, and they were eating brine!

i added them to my 210gal reef. i've got a refugium, so i hope that, plus the fact that they ate brine for him, will keep them going strong.

anyone know if they ever spawned in captivity?

I can't believe how killer this fish is. Great pick for FOTM. I've waited almost 12 years before I bought my first (mandarin) dragonet. This is the first one I've owned and is doing great. Very peaceful fish. Needy little buggers. In my opinion this should be a much more expensive fish(paid 20 bucks for mine:speechles). I think this may keep this fish left for experienced keepers only.

How can you tell if one is female and one is male if you shouldn't have 2 males together?
