So, I've had my tank up for about three months. While it's still bare (patience I know) we spend a lot of time staring into the tank enjoying the view....well my cat, who has been my baby for the last 4 years is fed up. He wants to make sure he is seen.

Yeah, my cat Sophie sleeps on top of my aquarium and wakes up when I walk in the room and wants me to pet her. When my other cats try to climb up to get on top and she is there she will fight them off. Normally I have three different cats in my room (which is where my aquarium is) Charlie, Midnight, and Sophie wanting attention while my other two cats Tigger and Candy would not care to be petted or look at the fish.
P.S. Sophie is always watching me and anoint me while I do mantinance or introduce a new critter.
P.P.S. The cat in my avatar picture is her.
P.P.P.S. I have also had my tank up for 3-4 months.

Poe ( short for Edgar Allen Poe) is very much involved in my tank cleaning, feeding and adding of items as well. We use to have a bar stool set next to the tank where he would watch the fish, or plan the death of them? This is the same cat that will drag his half empty water dish through three rooms to let me know the water isn't to his liking.

I love mainecoons, I had one when I lived in Ohio. She would get in the bath tub with me lol. She also loved to play in the toilet. The cat on my profile was my bob tail. He was leash trained and such a love bug. He would let me draw on his face and purr the whole time. Someone stole him!!! I was so devastated.
