Indian peppermint shrimps ?

    Hey guys, im from india, and these are sold as indian peppermint shrimps... will they harm corals? Are they true peppermints???

    They do appear to be peppermint shrimp.

    Peppermint shrimp are usually added to reef tanks to eradicate pest anemones, such as aiptasia. Unfortunately, they have been known to attack other short-tentacle nems and fleshy LPS corals.

    I had to get ride of my peppermint, it tore into a hammer and pestered my nem..

    I got 3 of them to get rid of aiptasia...they tore two brains which i couldn't save...they were removed from my tank
