Impulse buy! (new pics 4/29)

Soo it may not be the impulse buy yall were expecting..



My girlfriend and I rode over to Columbus, GA yesterday to go shopping. She's obsessed with dogs so we went to a pet store that I knew of over there that had dogs (they also have good saltwater stuff..the main reason i wanted to go!) As soon as I walked in I saw this little guy sittin in his cage..I had a golden retriever when I was younger and have wanted another one for quite some time. As soon as I started considering getting him a family took him out to play with him..said they would think about it and come back..before i could find someone another family had him out..they decided they wanted him..they applied for the financing (he was kinda pricey...) twice and were denied both times (this is over a course of 3 hours)..i couldn't believe it! My girlfriend was about to cry because she thought that they were going to get him. I told them I would pay cash up front and it was a done deal. He is a 9 week old Light Golden Retriever..AKC registered..the works!

I've been stuck on naming him..My roommate and I were thinking of "Roi" after the late LeRoi Moore..i like it but my girlfriend doesn't..

SO..3reef..your suggestions are MUCH appreciated!

P.S.- I want something kind of odd/original..not standard retriever names

 

it will never fit in your tank, i would see if the LFS would accept it back for credit at least.



nice looking pup! I like Roi for a name...but there are others I am sure.

 

depends on what your wife likes, mine is a disney fan so my dogs got named after characters in the lion king. lol.

 

I could set up an entire new tank with the store credit i'd get with this little guy haha

 

You should name him Cash

 

What about Gizmo, vinny, kaleo *ka lay oh*, that's all I can think of right now. He's really cute!

yea its a really unique name, i don't know what the meaning is, but a friend found it and gave the name to her horse, i've always liked that name myself.

fully! took him in an out of his kennel a few times and gave him treats while he was in there so he wasn't afraid of it..still working on acclimating his urine outside though...
