I put baking powder, instead of baking soda, into my fishtank. Would should I do?

I've moved the fish into another tank, so they're okay. It's a 60 litre tank and I put a teaspoon of baking powder into the tank.

Check PH. Run fresh carbon and do a wc if possible.

Once it starts to raise, be sure to turn up the heat.

you put 5 ml baking powder, istead of baking soda in a 15g tank, presumably to raise the Alk and/or Ph, and now you're worried?
From what I remember reading about this and the difference, etc.
Don't sweat it- I dunno, is that bad advice, is he going to have a DT meltdown?

Windy is reffering to baking powder making bread rise lol.
Baking powder is baking soda with cream of tartar ( acidic) and usually starch. A lowered PH is almost a certainty.

I'd probably do a water change and not stress

PH is the key. Baking powder contains both acid and base components. The result is probably neutral but to be sure check ph as vinny said. There are other things in there but ph should be your first concern.
