Here is a picture of it, lights have been on for a couple hours. Right side is not extending very much. Last night it wasnt at all. I am not sure if I stated this or not but last night when I noticed the issue I shut down the GFO reactor.

Looks normal for a recently introduced clam. Once it has anchored itself it will look better. Color looks great.

Thank you 2in10. The clam is anchored and has been in the tank for 2 months. The right side of the mantle is not fully extended like the left side.

is the light directly above it or in front or behind it? or it could be the flow?

Nothing has changed in terms of light or flow, light is slightly behind I guess...

If this is recent keep track of it. Is the clam gaping? Look at the incoming siphon it should look like a slit not oblong or oval in shape. Check for something irritating underneath the mantle on the right side also.

No gaping, looked last night with a flashlight for pyramids and didn't see any, looked today with lights on and not seeing any visible cause

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
PMD will show a ruffling of the very edges of the mantle.

GFO does accelerate the progression of the disease.

You need to look for the ruffling of the edges of the mantle, Crocea are more prone to it that other clams.

All I can tell you is that when an area of the mantle is withdrawn that has been a bad sign for me. You ruled out Pyramids, near by corals, fish nipping and nasty predators at night, crabs and some worms, parameters?

Is the image a am image, why is the duncan above it closed?

The Duncan is 4 or more inches away and not on the side that's retracted. I really can't tell about ruffling, it doesn't look very noticeable if it is there. My clown goby has perched on and around it since day one without it being bothered. Can you describe the ruffling anymore or really clear pictures?
