First attempts at Birdnest frags (pics)

    Well I had successfully fragged my xenia, and now I accidentally bumped my birdsnest while I had my hands in the tank, and broke off 2 little pieces, so I thought what the hell, I'll try it. Anyone started this small before--any luck??
    The other one is a cabbage leather.

    Those are about the size I see most people frag SPS. Looks good. IMO they are some of the easiest, because you just break them off and super glue them to a plug.

    Seen a lot smaller frags make it. You should be fine.

    I have some frags that small. I dont beleive in spending tons of money on mother colonies.

    I even have some frags smaller than that that are rare and super expensive.

    They're not mine. I saw the pics on a thread at RC. I had never seen a single polyp frag before.

    That's what I was going to say, that's the first single polyp of sps I've every seen. I don't know why someone would cut a frag that small.
