So I've never actually seen the ICH, but I think my poor Thompson may have it. Can anyone tell me from the picture if that's what it is, and any recommendations to get him back in action? Poor guy!

Looks more like the beginnings of marine velvet or brooklynella. Pretty fast paced disease. Also known as the clownfish disease because of its prevalence among clownfish.

I have never seen that before so I googled it, that's exactly what it looks like. Any advice on treatment?

brooklynella took out my pair of clowns that i had in my old 55 gallon. I tried everything under the sun and they didn't make it. Good luck glad you caught it early. QT him immediately and start treatment if you can that would be my suggestion.

Only reason i say do it immediately is because it took my clowns out in about 2 days if that. saw something on them started to research it came home from work to them covered in a thin mucus looked like they had a snotty body. they didnt make it through the night, then a few weeks later tank sprung a leak and here i am now. a year later just started a new tank. lol

Ok so I used the Formalin and quarantined him. He's still swimming. He even seems to be cleaning up a little. Thompson is a stud! He even made it through my first year of absolute stupidity in reefing! I think he will beat this!

I had brook take out almost my entire 125 I had. I lost my blue throat trigger, flame angel, emporer angel and the only fish to survive was my sohal tang. I miss that guy, he was 13" when I rehomed him.
