Hello everyone! This is my first post on this site. I thought I'd share some photos of my build for my 90g stand. I plan to stock this tank with wall to wall corals (mainly SPS with some LPS).

After a 7 year hiatus, I was inspired to come back to the hobby. I came across NewYorkSteelo on YouTube and his tank was what I was trying to achieve previously.

The reason for giving up the hobby is because my wife and I had two beautiful babies that I gave all of my attention to. They are now a little older (5 and 7) and are also excited to have a new reef tank. Here is the first phase of setting up our new aquarium. Enjoy!

Looks great!. Just a suggestion before you get too far along... I would not put that ply over either the top of the stand (where the tank sits) or the bottom (which rests on the floor). You will have spillage while working on the tank. Water on the top will get trapped under the tank and rot the stand, while water trapped under the stand will rot both the stand and possibly floor.

Thanks for the feedback guys! PackLeader, I hear you. What I did was seal the edges with tub and shower caulk. I topped it off 3 inches of the bottom panels and the entire floor with spray-on bedliner (same as what you would use on a pick up truck) to create a non-porous surface. Any water that splashes would puddle and not soak through. It cost about $12 at AutoZone.
