Im trying not to think of generating homemade remedies... lol
Makes you think though about how easy it would be to make all of your tank's essential remedies with scratch stuff at home haha.

glad to hear it worked for you...I so know what its like to have a bad cyano outbreak, I went through it not to long ago, but mine lasted nearly a month...I heard of that product before, but because of where I live, I would have had to order it online (my lfs is Petco & they don't carry it). Did you do anything else? Like Adjust water flow, or turn off lights, etc.?

Yes, i did. I limited my lighting, and started much less feeding, i did the water changes too. It just wouldnt go away until I used this stuff. I did a major water change after using it and it hasnt come back so far!
I also keep a strong flow of water on the sand now.

I turned off the lights for days. I cut back on the feeding. I have 2 1350gph in my sump and 4 korilia4s plus 2 korilia3s I dident need to add more flow. I personally dont believe in this flow thing. I swear it looked like the flow was making the slime just go with the flow haha. I am sure the flow thing works just never had it happen for me. The slime always started on the back glass and there is 2 korilia 4s hitting the glass right where it starts.

I started doing that, but then realized it wasn't working, I was only making it worse by causing it to spread...lets see, long story short...I added a power head, turned off the lights for about a week, did 2 cycles of phosphate remover, reduced feeding, plenty of water changes, added a lawnmower blenny, and a big fat hermit crab...I was so frustrated with the whole thing...it was like a constant battle...but, in the end, I WON! I even wrote a few blogs about it, if you have time... lol...I think I call it Curse of the cyano...
