    depends on what species you are trying to breed. For the smaller species like ocellis or percula a 2o gallon will work. If your going for the larger species such as P. biaculeatus (Maroon) or A. frenatus (Tomato) a 55 is as required.

    mine have been spawning in my 55 reef. see my thread. however, i dont have a breeder or the means to build one right now. however, i have high hopes to hatch some clownfish fry sometime down the road.
