Clownfish full of eggs?

    OK so now I'm puzzled! My clownfish went from hosting my anenome a week ago to looking like she was ready to lay eggs to having to put her out of her misery! Plz help me figure out what happened!     Sorry we were all wrong. Check this link out. It is for treating swollen abdomen in case any other fish get it. It said it could be viral which means other fish could get it. It also said it might be genetic too so you don't have to worry too much that other fish could get it but at least you know what to watch for now.

    Sounds about right! Thank you! I really don't think there is any help for her but I will be doing water changes & checking frequently for all other fish...

    Well clownfish did not make it!! :confused::( I don't know why it just happened all so suddenly! Thanks to everyone for your help!

    After your last video I suspected that would happen. Looks like you need to catch that early to have a real chance at saving the fish and we didn't help you catch it early.

    Its fine! Nobody would have thought any different... I had a few experienced hobbyists come look & all research done indicated that she was full of eggs... I always hate to lose a pet & it is very puzzling & hard to watch it lose the battle day by day...
    However all other fish are doing & looking fine... I'm going to do a water change & clean up a little bit & hopefully all other fish remain in good health...
