Okay guys, I woke up this morning and my water seemed to be cloudy? Yesterday it was very clear, I have done a 10% water change but my water parameters where normal...... Now my nem has been acting a little weird the past few days. And today it's as if it's not to healthy looking, I'm not overly concerned due to it being very healthy looking for months. But it has been closing up and opening over the course of days and it moved a few times? Could this be related? Thanks for your help

These are post water change, truthfully I thought about nitrates and ammonia. Never thought to test Cal and Mag for a nem? But the water is clearing up.... Nem is still very upset but looking better.

I just get why the nem went downhill over night? Yesterday it was out and open? But today it's very small and at one point it's mouth was open...... It's still very small but it's mouth is back closed, do you believe it may have realised eggs?

Now I added a Mandarin a few days back? Sorry for the multiple post, but I'm just thinking lol..... Trying to give all the info. Oh and I was about 3 days past a water change, but that was on purpose..... My work schedule may change so I'm trying to do monthly water changes as apposed to biweekly water changes...

A Mandarin will probably not survive in your tank. Does it eat prepared foods? The cloudy water could be a bacterial bloom.Anemones like all corals will exchange water from time to time.Dirty water can kill them quickly though.

My Mandarin does not eat prepared foods, although in the store it looked as if it did..... The only reason I got it was because we both thought it ate a frozen shrimp..... I have pods and bought more today, I will also try to get it to start eating frozen pods..... But if not I will just dose pods about every two months. And I don't understand how a bacteria out break happened over night? What can I do to fix it? If it's not clear by morning I will do another 10% water change

Do you guys believe I should do another 10% water change tonight? Although it's starting to clear up, it's still has some cloudiness to it.....

Well, I did some reading and I decided to do another 10% water change. So today I changed 20% of the water in my tank and will dose bacteria for a week evey night..... I hope this will nip this in the butt.... Still puzzled how I got this issue though, last night my water was crystal clear..... And my nitrates where 0…

I'm sorry correction on my math, I changed 40% of my water today...... Nem seems happier already and water is definitely starting to clear up. I will still keep putting bacteria in my tank for a week.
