    A lot of times it does this to just basically exhale and release its bad things or like poop to us. He will be back up to par in a day or two! Mine does this about once a week.

    This is correct information.

    IME the Brains I have kept would balloon up at night hours after the lights went off, that is also a good time to feed them.

    They're also sensitive to Alk fluctuations.
