Hello great forum you have here!

I currently have a red sea max which has been running for about 6 months, I now plan to go to a bigger tank but i would like to build it myself. Can anyone recomend me a good book with tips on what i need such as hardware etc.

    Thanks

Glad you found your way here...

One of my favorite books describing hardware, systems lighting and feeding scheduals, etc. From small tanks to large (very) is,

Has anyone read this one, I saw it in Freshwater & Marine Aquarium Sept 07 Mag (which by the way is a nice balance for Marine, its not all Marine but helped me a lot)

Reef tanks have a reputation for being complicated and expensive. This book shows that such a reputation is not necessarily deserved.
As an easy-to-understand guide for the beginning aquarist, the book provides the reader with the basic knowledge...

    "Expensive" - can be.

"Complicated" - not if you understand the basics.
