    hey guys i got some acupora sps i think thats how u spell it anyways, whene i first got it i didnt see it but on its uther side witch the LFS had turned away from ppl to see is all dead its like its brown outer shell fell off it started from the bottom up. and idk if its bleaching or not cuz the very tips of it are turning white,so before it spread to the uther limbs i cut them off and super glued them to rubble rocks and evan they had tiny bit of white on ther tips the polyps did open tho. i just wanna now why its turning white and y it starte to brake its shell off my tank is....

    i have a bio ball filter and a lil side filter for 20 gallon tank for extra filtering i got carbon running thrue it allso.

    Parameters

    nitrates 0

    nitrites 0

    cal 420

    ammonia 0

    alk ses normal

    ph is 8.4

    Magnisium no kit

    water is 81

    i do have flat worm working on getting rid of om dout they woad be the case of problem tho

    Depending on what type it is, the white on the tips could just be new growth. Pictures would really help in this case :)


    Also, id ditch the bio balls they are nitrate traps in the long run!

    can you post a good image please - as close as you can get, without losing focus

    that would really help

    white tips could be growth , (and yes thats what I hope it is) but a picture would help check

    ok tomarrow i do it first thing. allso i didnt light aclimate him cuz the guy i got him from had 2 250w metal halide allso, ill allso look to see if there white or not

    with out photo's I would say it is new growth if it at the tips RTN usally starts @ the base or body of the acro not the tips

    the white bumping stuff on the bottom of the frag is just super glue but if u look closely at the top theres white on the tips of it

    still hard to say on both pics my eye sight isn't that good . but I would say it is growth as it was in the tips. but since you cut them off a photo will not help now.
