2010 3reef DIY Video Contest

I don't know if he'll allow it if it takes too long. I think I would, as long as it was loaded up to YT by midnight, but that's not my call.

 

I got it up!!! yay!!

 

Traditionally these contests have run on Pacific time so there is a bit more time for (less than two hours) for serious slackers.

Voting will likely begin on Tuesday and we will have the voting go for a week to determine the winners.

Thanks to all that entered. This contest turned out well with some nice gems. I look forward to the voting!

Limpit it was YOU!!! I built my sump/refuge on your design example. One problem it has a SERIOUS flaw that I learned at my expense. Silicon will NOT adhere to acrylic. I learned that on my own, spoke to a tech rep at All-Glass & the silicon mfg as well & both stated the same. I had to make mine out of glass. If you click on my 90gal build you'll see what happens.

A suggestion for the next time you run a promotion like this. YouTube has an application available called youtube direct. It's awesome, I work for a tv station and I use it on our site for video submission promotions. It allows visitor to upload right from the site with ease, and allow the moderator to accept or decline videos that are visible on the site. There is a little bit of coding required to embed it to the site, but its cake.
