I have never used the product, sound like it has something to do with a zeovite system or supplement.

Interested to see what others say.

is an additive that apparently drives the Zooxanthellia out of corals
which is why using it according to instructions is critical

there have been reports around the web and even on Zeovit site indicating that using this product more frequently than suggested or in higher doses than instructed
can result in bleached out corals

the primary use for this product being driving the zooxanthellia out of the corals is for coloration consideration because more zoos = darker colours or brown corals

thus IMO this is probably not the right product for the purpose you have in mind

for more active polyp extension - I would suggest food based supplements or additives
rather than a chemical of unknown composition (we do not know what it as, as there are no ingredients listed on Zeo product or on web site)

    Hmmm

I was wondering if this was were the product was headed.

IMO there are much safer ways to increase PE. While I am not the poster child for PE, I see good PE with adjustments in flow, keeping my hands out of the tank, consistent and appropriate values for Ca, ALK, SG.........

But if you decide to go that route I will be following, for sure.

Thanks guys. Maybe I won't do that. What about some kind of amino acid additive like brightwell?

IME polyp extension is a function of the inhabitants of the tank and sometimes flow.

do you have any angelfish or hawkfish or maybe some perching gobies by any chance?

amino acids work, but in my experience you need to go over the recommend dosage to get the extension.

keep in mind amino acids are nutrients.

I do have a flame. I love him though. :( it's only the acros that don't have extension. All of my other corals do

Alright, I think I found the answer. I removed the flame the day before yesterday. I saw a little PE yesterday, but today I have never seen this much PE since I purchased my acros. He must have just had a taste for acro
