    Hi,

My male clownfish has not eaten in over a week. He looks fine, not bloated or sick looking. But today he has what looks like white poo coming out of him. It's not stringy. I've read where the fish becomes bloated and not hungry because of worms in it's intestinal tract. Any thoughts?

ewww.....I don't know how one tells by poo if it's an infection. I would imagine if it looks different it could be indicative of something....wouldn't the worms also be in the poo?

Yeah idk... I'm sure worm eggs are in the poo, but I think some worms come out of the anima at times to release eggs.

White and/or stringy feces is generally an indication of intestinal parasites, however, it can also be a sign of malnutrition. If your fish has been eating a good, varied diet, then it's likely the former.
