Well there is a lot of good info in this thread and others. If someone wanted to ask another question on moving it would be a shame if it was locked.

Thanks Jason, I actually do have a question. I set up my tank just after Xmas but recently decided to look for a new place. I was wondering if it was ok to move it so soon. I figure another 3 months and it will be time to move. I thought it might actually be a perfect time since its still not too full of critters. but with cycling and all. Anyways, any info would be great. By the way, this is such a great site! Its been a big help!

That sucks that you have to disturb a 2 1/2 year old reef! I hope everything does well in the process!

I'm in the same predictament, as i'm planning on moving from Connecticut to the Myrtle Beach section of South Carolina. I don't know how i'm going to do it! Moving a 75gal and 30hex is not going to be fun. The other thing is there aren't many pet shops down there dealing with saltwater reef environments. I don't want to get rid of everything up here and start over especially since I have alot of money invested in corals inverts etc. No idea what to do!
