What is your ideal aquarium size?

Factoring everything, what is your ideal aquarium?

Do you have it now? Why not?

 

one question before i answer, is this based on actually income and avaliable space? or is it more of a dream tank?

 

My next tank will be built into an existing closet sealed from the front with all access from behind. 300gal 96Lx24wx30H. It's a while away but I've already been pricing and planning.

 

well if i had the money and the space i would build a 20,000 gal reef enviornment and would try to make it into a closed system place where there is a cycle of food that never deplets and of course i would have scoba gear to swim with all my homies lol...that would be so awsome

 

hmmm i would prolly need like 200 1000w mhs lol...or better yet make it out doors

 

I would say 150 - 200 gallon for in home tanks it will give you more room to work with. and more options as far as aquascaping.

 

The bigger the better for me I only have a 90 gallon right now because it's all I can afford and all I have room for

 

Bigger the better for me as well. I'm in the planning stages of a 210-240G now. But it's real early in the planning stages

I would want a wall unit with three different habitat areas sand for my stingrays, starfish LR for my fish and then finally LR/LS for my inverts. This way i dont have to buy a hug MH lamp and i can concintrate on certain area of living habitats.

So it would have to be about 15' wide, 48" deep, 36" tall inclosed in a wall.
