    14 days up
    results as follows

    SG and PH unchanged

Mag - 1460 - 1470 (between the lines on the test tube)
    Calcium 470
    DKH - 14.4

these 2 bottles where shaken vigorously each day before solution added
and the dose was 1.0ml of each bottle using a syringe liberated and cleaned from an old test kit (hence I am certain I dosed equal quantities of each part)

but it does seem to me, it has delivered more carbonates than calcium
and after just 2 weeks of dosing daily without testing
my DKH has drifted outside of the general recomended range

thus 2 weeks of dosing 1 mil of each code A and B per day resulted in

increase on Mag of 30 -40ppm
    increase on calc of 50ppm
    increase on DKH of 5.4

Reef Accelerrator test will start tomorrow, with another batch of old water from my reef tank

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Hi Steve.

Why does the A bottle say Alkalinity and Calcium and the second one Alkalinity and Calcium? Is the A bottle suggesting that is also adjust alkalinity? I am just confused or it that the way it's labeled to confirm you need both A and B?

Do either A and B contain any strontium?

    TIA

I missed this thread for some reason.
Right now, I'm using C-Balance by Two Little Fishes
I chose to purchase this product above others because of Julian Sprung's good reputation.
Would you be able to add this product to your experiment?
    Great experiment BTW

I heard Purple Up was mainly just water with Corailline algae scraped into the bottle lol.

one of my team mates took out the nonsense post dumbderk

Purple up, according to the Reef Alchemist consists mainly of fine argonite sand particles that dont fully dissolve

I dont doubt his wisdom. knowledge, but if I find a bottle
I will be adding it to my list of things I want to know, what they do !

That would be awesome because I bought a bottle a while back but stopped using it after a couple fish store owners told me about it, but it would be nice to see actual results. Thanks :)

This may sound stupid but what would argonite have on the effects of our tanks?
