What eats green hair algae?

    turbo snails , chitons will eat it, lawn mower blennies usually wont ( i have heard one or two that do ) but fo rthe most part they just eat film algae. the thing that took care of GHA the best for me was a foxface rabbit fish. just depends on the tank size. but i would look for the source and try to eliminate it there. usually will be cheaper down the road

    The Turbo snails do awesome, the one I bought mowed down a whole underwater field in like two days... Like a 4 inch x 6 inch spot covered in long hair algea, he started mowing it down as soon as I put him on the spot!

    kole tangs are very good. also sea hares do a great job in my tank
