    I am currently laid off. I'm a Harley Davidson parts and accessories person. The guy responsible for making Harley's chromed out and loud.

    I am a site manager for a company that maintains and operates rail systems on DOD installations. Basically, I play with trains.

    on the big plus side - sounds like many of those who are experiencing a work hiatus have been able to reconnect with their families and personal hobbies / interests and best of all finding the joys of being stay at home parents. It is such a tough balance both financially and emotionally for many working parents these days.

    so many people are affected - a big reason why I try to make a conscientious effort to patronize my LFS's and other small local businesses as well when I am able to.

    this has been an amazing thread for sure - what a great bunch of hard working people we have here. let's see who else does what in future posts - keep em coming!
