    Hi ll and welcome! Well, after much interest, and not really having an established and active club here, I have decided to start a club. And I figured it was a good idea to start off or little board here by saying hello, and talking a little about the future goals of the Reno Area Reef Society (RARS).
    The main objective of this club is to have a fun, friendly atmosphere to share our amazing hobby, trade frags, socialize, help with any questions, and networking amongst a more local target. Anyone and everyone is welcomed to RARS, including people in the outlaying areas like Carson City, Fernley, Tahoe, etc.
    Future projects include:

    Designing a logo for flyers/letterhead etc (currently in process)
    Advertising our group through LFS's (will be in progress as soon as logo is completed)
    Becoming registered nationally through MASNA (currently in process)
    Setting up frag swaps/auctions, and general social events (sometime after first two are done)

    Becoming a member is easy. Either just post on this board, send me a PM, or e-mail me at [email protected], and you're in! Freshwater and fish only enthusiasts are also always more than welcomed, as are beginners and people who may only be considering a home aquarium and would like some advice and a guiding hand.

    And make sure to thank Matt for giving us this awesome little piece of his forum by showing your support to 3Reef!

    Hope your club goes good. IRC ( Indiana Reefer's Club ) is a small but nice group. We usually meet at a members house and have a cook out. Really just get together and talk saltwater.
