Two tanks went cloudy and everything died

    I had 2 tanks one 10 gallon and one 55 gallon. Suddenly go completely cloudy and everything died overnight. The tanks are different ages and had different inhabitants. The skimmer went crazy with foam, but the not the normal brown variety, more yellowish. Any ideas on what could cause this?

    Any chance you recently painted with spray paint, used some sort of aerosol nearby or used a bug bomb?
