I dunno what to do. My trumpet is getting worse! The flesh use to just be shrunk down to teh skelleton but now the skeleton itself is poking through the flesh on one of the heads and the other isn't doing well either. Is my trumpet unfortunately on it's way out? I only got it a week ago. All other corals in my tank are doing fantastic! I'm at the point of giving up and just letting it go out. So much for it being an "easy" coral to care for. It was one of my favorite corals too...

Oh, and I don't know if this matters but I caught a hermit crab climbing over it a couple times and it got knocked down once.

No, it's not close enough to anything to get stung... but this morning when the lights came on one of the heads inflated again back to normal (the one that was worse off)... I'm gunna wait and hopefully the other will come back aswell.

Sounds like a plan :) mine did this to me once-looked like a rock for over a week then blam! Now I've got 3 heads splitting at the same time. Which will now give me 10 in all :)

if its in high flow they tend to shrink up like this maybe try moving it to slightly less flow and see how it does
