I won this 10g Tank KIt from Aqueon at my clubs December meeting in a raffle.

    Wisconsin Reef Society

and had my sons 14 and 11 help me set it upo for them, pick out the gravel and fish, etc.

I found a plastic turtle somewhere, and put it in a cup of water- it sank!

So I added it to my FW DT.

Showed it to my sons, and the 11y/o decided to add a bit more flair.
We tried them in a cup of water- they sank too!

So, here's my current FW DT- we added a catfish too to help keep the bottom clean.

Todd - I think it needs an Apex

My entire fish experience started when my daughter won a gold fish at a carnival 12 years ago.... It all started with a little bowl. Before you know it you will have a 46 bow fw tank with sump :2thumbsup:

    That's awesome! Nice looking tank!!!

This will get them in the hobby as they get older and eventually ask for their own reef tank?

I got in the hobby thats to my dad who as a kid I would watch TV about the ocean.. So when I was about 10 or 11, he bought me my first tank. It was a 40G but bought me everything I needed to get me started and eventually I used my allowance money to buy stuff I needed or he would have me do things around the house to earn $ for my tank.
