Is it possible to get those awesome colorful pictures with a tablet(Samsung Galaxy T310)???
Just picked up some coral frags that look great when the blue lights are set more intensively than the whites. But the pictures look bad ( No color, bleached). And under just the white lights , the coral doesn't look so special.

I'm not a instagram user , but you sent me in the right direction to look for a camera app with filters. Found one that looks like it might work, just have to mess with it . Thanks

Turn off all pumps so water is still, clean glass, just a couple things I do to take pictures.

To filter out the blue, I just use polarized sunglasses. Works like a charm =)

And a steady hand would help too. Trying to get the color to pop

I love these simple "hacks"! Too bad my polarized sunglasses are prescription! darn it!!

    Other things to try:

be as parallel to the glass with the camera
Try the cloudy setting for brightness on your camera

Mine are prescription too! They are brown though, so violets/purples still come through. I think a different shade would provide better filters.

Here is a polarized pic with Brown lenses. No camera effects, just the glasses. As you can see, it is very purple. Corals kind of pop though

Pic with regular Galaxy S5. No filters or effects. Very blue. Blenny.jpg
