Well kinda stuck here lost 4 fish in 48 hours as of right now all my peramiters are at 0

    Ammonia 0
    Nitrite 0
    Nitrate 0
    PH 8.2
    ALK 9dkh

Basicly the fish look like there gasping for air swiming stright up and down trying to pop there head out of the tank! Cloudy eyes. D all of the above Right now i have them in a quarentine tank but whatever it is so far has taken over them so fast that by the time i look there half dead. Right now im treating them with ich meds and some antibiotics. Dont know what it is or were to start looking for a cure to it. kinda at wits end here and dont know were else to go in 48 hours i lost $400 in fish. got 2 left and they will be gone within the next 24.

Do you have any pumps in the tank? Could be lack of oxygen in the water.

Clouded eye’s and labored breathing sounds like a bacteria infection – treat with a broad spectrum antibiotic such as miracyn II with B-complex. Sorry to hear about the loss of fish !

tank is 115 gallon TWV metal halide 10k light with 4 actinics lunar moon lights. 100lbs of live rock 100lbs of sand

    Dead fish
    Lawnmower blennie
    Kole Tang
    Anthias 2x

Right now the flame angel is the only one left that looks sick
have a blue tang and yellow tang and sand sifter gobie that are fine as of right now but am gonna move them into the quarentine anyway that will make it so that the only thing in the tank is the CUC have a rose anemone & Purple tip long tenicle.

Right now im running GFO & Carbon in a reactor from BRS. Ordered a UV sterilizer this morning. 25 gallon refugium with mud deep sand bed and live rock and chato in it!

Have a modded coralife skimmer that has been tuned up with a huge pump ect. works wonderful produces some of the nastiest stuff I have ever smelled. Pinwheel pump is rated at 500GPH

Blue and yellow tang have been in there the longest out of all of them. Right now think the best bet will be to move all the fish to quarentine for the next 4 weeks run my uv on the tank in the meantime. make sure there all healthy before I continue with fish in it. I know for a fact that the flame has ick so it must be in my tank! so im thinking that a quarentine until the life cycle of that is done would be the first thing to do. As far as the bacteria infection dont know were to start with that but it was in the back of my head! Is this something that the UV will pull out of the aquarium ? Or were do i start with that ?

What would you do if you were me in this situation

Continue with tank maintenance, medicate with broad spectrum and I suggest against a stress creating fresh water dip – just my opinion but I don’t think this has anything good to offer. Honestly, I think this conversation is too late and the damage is done.
