Baught a couple snails for my tank today. Dropped them in and they dug straight under the sand. Now from my knowledge when it's time tofeed the fish they should spring out of the sand and just go for the food. But i fed the fish and no results. Any help on this. Anything would be great. Thank you;D

You might just need to give them a little time to adjust.

Next time you may wanna put the snails, crabs, fish or whatever in a bucket and let you water drip into it slowly so they can adjust to the water slowly. And dont put the lfs water into you tank.

its probably good to change that habit, and start disposing of the water that was in the transport bag instead of adding it too your tank.

give the snails more time, btw they eat meat so they might be happier with a piece of shrimp on the sand bed once they adjust

did you slowly add some tank water into the bag and take out the current water from the bag? a drip loop would be an ideal way of doing this :)

you shouldnt add the tank water from the fish store to your tank. there could be things you dont want to add to your tank in that water.

if you got some frozen fish food then put some in and see them come out of the sand strait for the food. they are cool buggers for sure! ;D
